Cherokee Street Elementary students had a little extra magic waiting for them after being named the winners of Connetquot Public Library’s Summer Reading Challenge.

Cherokee students logged the most reading during the library’s summer challenge, earning the school a special magic show featuring The Magic of Amore. Throughout the performance, students watched a variety of tricks and illusions, with several volunteers invited on stage to become part of the show.

The assembly was a fun way to celebrate Cherokee’s enthusiastic readers and their summer of reading. Congratulations to all who participated!
