Connetquot’s Instructional Technology team showcases innovative AI integration at Nassau BOCES

The district’s Instructional Technology team was proud to present at Nassau BOCES, showcasing the district’s innovative and strategic approach to integrating Artificial Intelligence into teaching and learning through its partnership with MagicSchool AI.
The presentation was led by Director of Instructional Technology Elizabeth Weis, Instructional Technology Specialist Victoria Pappas, and BOCES Technology Coach Nikki Frink Martin, who shared Connetquot’s districtwide journey with educational AI and the collaborative work of the district’s Artificial Intelligence Committee.
Attendees learned about the many ways MagicSchool AI is being utilized across the district by teachers, administrators, and students to enhance productivity, creativity, communication, and classroom engagement. The team highlighted districtwide best practices, professional development efforts, classroom projects, and administrative applications that demonstrate how AI can be integrated in meaningful, responsible, and student-centered ways.
In addition, the presenters shared a roadmap for districts looking to thoughtfully implement AI with a focus on strategic planning, innovation, and educational impact through strong partnerships and ongoing support.
