Outdoor Education Students Reel in Impressive Catches

Students in Mr. Frenz's Outdoor Education class spent a day fishing aboard the Island Spirit out of Captree, and the results were impressive! The group of 33 students caught more than 75 striped bass, with every student landing at least one fish and many catching three or four. While most of the fish were too large to keep due to state size regulations, three lucky students were able to bring home fillets from their catches.
