The Votes Are in at Idle Hour Elementary

Mrs. Prinz's first grade class learned all about Election Day by holding their very own classroom election. They discussed the importance of voting and how it gives everyone a voice in making decisions. Students cast their ballots for one of two exciting choices: extra recess time or a pajama day. 

The voters had so much fun sharing reasons why they wanted their choice to win, filling out their ballots, and, of course, receiving special “I Voted” stickers. 

The results are in... and the winner is… pajama day!
