Duffield’s “Travel Drug Free” Contest Highlights Healthy Choices

Duffield students shared their take on what it means to “travel drug free” as part of this year’s United We Stand for a Drug-Free Community Week.

For the “Life is a Journey, Travel Drug Free!” contest, one winner from each grade was selected based on their creativity and descriptive language. Congratulations to Katelyn Knoell (kindergarten), Venskyanah Pierre (first grade), Rufaidah Alam (second grade), K’ayslee Coffey (third grade), Thiago Escobar (fourth grade) and Ian Salas (fifth grade)!

Each winner received a drug-free backpack, mini trophy and goodie bag filled with Red Ribbon Week items and other prizes, including a coupon for a free sundae at Applebee’s. Great job to everyone who participated!
