Pumpkin Decorating with a Purpose at Sycamore

A group of people dressed in costumes poses in front of colorful artwork on walls.

Sycamore Avenue’s Pumpkin Project turned ordinary pumpkins into some pretty creative characters. Each classroom put its own spin on a pumpkin donated by the Sycamore PTA, with the finished creations displayed for students to enjoy.

The best part? Every vote counted for more than just bragging rights. Students and staff donated a quarter to vote for their favorite, with all proceeds going to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Mrs. Cimino’s fourth grade class claimed the title of “Favorite Pumpkin” with its tall Mike Wazowski pumpkin!
