Duffield and Bosti students named winners in Earth Day poster contest

Congratulations to Duffield second grader Avyukth Gowda, who earned first place, and Bosti first grader Mia Delgado Hortado, who placed second, in the Town of Islip’s 2026 Earth Day poster contest! 

The annual contest is part of the Town of Islip’s ongoing efforts to promote environmental awareness throughout the community. It encourages students to celebrate Earth Day by submitting creative artwork, highlighting the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling.
