CHS junior recognized in civics essay contest and wins district’s logo contest
Congratulations to Connetquot High School junior Kimberly Greenwood who received second place in all of Long Island for the Office of Statewide Civic Engagement of the NYS Unified Court System's annual civics essay contest!
Additionally, we are proud to recognize Kimberly for winning the district’s “America 250” logo contest. The district will celebrate America’s 250th anniversary in June with several exciting initiatives. The logo will be used on T-shirts, stickers and more as part of the districtwide celebration. Her logo beautifully captures the spirit of diverse perspectives coming together as one unified nation.
