Connetquot High School presents ‘Anastasia’
Connetquot High School presented its spring musical “Anastasia” in the Eric Martinsen Performing Arts Center from March 5-7. The talented cast and crew brought the beloved story to life with impressive performances and striking sets and costumes.
Set in the years following the Russian Revolution, “Anastasia” follows a young woman named Anya on a journey to discover her past. As she travels from St. Petersburg to Paris with two unlikely companions, she begins to uncover the possibility that she may be the lost Grand Duchess Anastasia. Filled with adventure and heart, the story explores themes of identity, family and finding where you truly belong.
Directed by Jennifer DeStio, the production drew enthusiastic audiences and showcased the strength of Connetquot’s theater program. From the unforgettable music to the powerful storytelling, the production was a memorable celebration of student talent and collaboration within the Connetquot High School community.
