Student artwork featured at CM Performing Arts Center

Connetquot High School students in Mr. Hargrave’s Advanced Digital Art class were selected as the featured artists for the Local Artist Gallery Wall at the CM Performing Arts Center during their run of “Spamalot”.
The theater hosted a special meet-and-greet to open the month-long exhibit, giving families and community members the opportunity to view the students’ work and celebrate their achievements.
To add to the excitement, renowned local artist Dan Welden joined for the event. Mr. Welden had previously welcomed the students to his studio in Sag Harbor, where they collaborated and gained valuable insight into professional artistic practices. His presence at the meet-and-greet marked a meaningful continuation of their creative journey and mentorship experience.
The showcase highlighted not only the exceptional talent of our students, but also the strong partnership between our schools and the local arts community!
