At the Sept. 24 Board of Education meeting, the Board recognized Connetquot High School students who participated in 2024 summer internships. Through their mentorship experiences, students gained invaluable professional skills and took huge steps towards investing in their futures.

The students first applied and interviewed with the business department before going through the process of writing a professional resume, practicing interview skills then interviewing with their respective internship hosts. Each student has satisfied the number of hours required by New York State through the work-based learning office.
