The district is pleased to announce that the Oakdale-Bohemia Middle School cheer team took home a first place win in the Small Division I category of the Section XI Middle School cheer competition, held at Walt Whitman High School on Jan. 8. Under the direction of coach Cheryl Towle, the team consists of 14 seventh and eighth grade girls, who have worked diligently throughout the fall season.

“I am so proud of all their hard work and determination this season,” Towle said. ”Each week the girls have a goal and every competition they climb one step closer to their goal.”
