Each year, Connetquot High School’s International Club embarks on a memorable winter trip to New York City, providing students with a unique cultural experience. This year, students began their journey at the renowned Metropolitan Museum of Art, where they explored a diverse range of classical works. Highlights included the Italian nativity scene beneath the museum's beautifully decorated tree, as well as special exhibits such as “Mexican Prints at the Vanguard”, “Siena: The Rise of Painting” and “Flight into Egypt: Black Artists and Ancient Egypt”. The day concluded with a visit to Rockefeller Center where students took in the festive atmosphere, admiring the iconic Christmas tree and seasonal decorations. The International Club meets with Sra. Roy-Caffrey on Tuesdays and welcomes all students!
