Students in Mr. Agoglia's Emergency Medicine class at Connetquot High School received a visit from Community Ambulance Company in Sayville. EMT Laura LoPreto and Paramedic Chris LoPreto shared their experiences as emergency medical service providers with the students.

They discussed what it's like to be healthcare providers and the training that's involved in becoming an EMT. Students explored the back of an ambulance and were able to see the equipment they learn about in class used to help patients suffering from chest pain, difficulty breathing and cardiac arrest.
