As the events unfold in Israel and throughout the Middle East, our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families. News images of the attacks and any further escalations can potentially be graphic, and thus upsetting. With regards to this conflict and recent social media activity, the Suffolk County Police Department has provided an update stating that currently, there are no credible threats. Out of an abundance of precaution, they will be increasing their presence tomorrow around schools and religious institutions.
