Dear Sycamore Families,
Welcome back to another exciting school year at Sycamore! I hope you all enjoyed a restful and enjoyable summer break. As we gear up for the new academic year, I wanted to extend a heartfelt welcome and share some important updates to ensure a smooth start.
Our dedicated team of teachers and staff have been working hard to prepare for the upcoming year. We are thrilled to see our students return. We have many exciting plans and activities lined up to make this year both educational and enjoyable.
Here are a few key updates and reminders as we begin the school year:
1. School Start Date: Our first day of school is September 3rd! For more information, please visit the school website and click on the tab, “Back to School 2024.”
2. Health and Safety: The health and safety of our students and staff will remain our top priority. We will continue to follow recommended health guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe learning environment. Please visit our school website and click on, “Nurse’s Office,” for more information.
3. Back to School Night: We will be hosting a Back to School Night on September 18th. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to meet your child’s teacher, learn about the curriculum, and ask any questions you may have.
4. School Supplies: A list of recommended school supplies is available on our website.
5. Communication: Staying connected is key to a successful school year. Be sure to check our school website and your email for important announcements and updates.
6. Parent-Teacher Association (PTA): We encourage you to get involved with our PTA. It’s a great way to meet other parents, support school activities, and contribute to our school community. Our first PTA meeting will be held on September 23rd @ 7:00 p.m.
We are excited to welcome back both returning and new families. Together, let’s make this school year a memorable and successful one for all our students. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to the school office.
Thank you for your support and partnership. Here’s to a fantastic school year ahead!
