The Connetquot School district is now providing students with the ability to access the district computer network from an off campus location. Student’s will have access to:

• Microsoft Office
• "My Documents" folder
• Other shared folders
• Other related district programs

To begin connecting, follow the link http://www.ccsdli.org/departments/tech_vmware , this webpage contains information relating to the application that will need to be installed to access the district servers. It can also be accessed from the district web site. From the main page, go to "DEPARTMENTS", click on "Technology", then click on "VMware View Home Connection" on the menu that appears on the left hand side of the screen. Follow the directions and download the appropriate file for your computer. It is recommended running the software from either a Windows or Mac based machine. Testing it from iPads/iPhones and Android devices has shown that it is a bit clumsy and not very efficient. If you elect to use an iPad/iPhone or Android device the apps are available from their app store for free.
