Thanks to the PTA Cultural Arts Committee, Helen B. Duffield students participated in the TAKE PRIDE! assembly. P.R.I.D.E. stands for promoting respect, responsibility, independence, determination and empathy.

This unique presentation focused on improving self-esteem, motivation and helping to prevent bullying by setting acceptable behavior standards. Students absorbed positive messages through illusions and magic, audience participation, age-appropriate humor and inspirational storytelling.
