On June 3, Ms. Astarita’s class at Sycamore Avenue Elementary celebrated their “Author Share Out” book celebration.

Parents and loved ones were invited to attend the special read-aloud, featuring non-fiction books created by the students. Each student chose an animal or insect to research and put together a book based on their topic. Students and parents celebrated with refreshments, and parents were able to “buy” their child’s book after the readings with fictitious money.
