Connetquot High School’s Hackathon team, Sour Bach Kids, placed fifth out of 18 teams at the KidOYO High School Siam Conquest competition on Friday, May 31.

“The team has improved every year. I’m proud of the kids and what they’ve accomplished, especially being such a young team,” said advisor Mr. Bachisin.

Congratulations to team members Ryan Beattie (3-year hackathon veteran), James Chen (3-year hackathon veteran), Alex DeVita, Michael Ibraham, Richard Martinez, Bethany Ugenti and Sameer Umar and to their advisor, HS computer science teacher Robert Bachisin, and MS computer science teachers Jennifer LaRose and Patrick Brady.
