The Sycamore Avenue Elementary School has been working on the ongoing mural project for the past several years. The purpose is to beautify our schools with an emphasis on literacy. As you can see from the pictures below, or if you've walked down our hallways, the books chosen have been beloved titles for years. All of these murals have been painted by teachers, parents, and even grandparents of the Sycamore community. Some of them are still a work in progress. All of the ones you see below are in our main hallways downstairs and upstairs. It is a a very special aspect of our school's aesthetics. I hope you all enjoy them as you walk Sycamore's hallways!
