10.  Procession Lines – Class of 2025 Advisors & Top 25 Students (in rank order) will lead the procession out to the field, followed by all graduates in alphabetical order.

11.  Graduates must walk in line, one behind the other so that there are no gaps in the line. You will wear your cap straight on the top of your head with the tassel on the FRONT RIGHT SIDE.

12.  When the procession begins please follow directions from Mr. Sidman, Ms. Laux, Mr. Modica, Ms. Neckin, faculty members and chaperones.

13.  After entering the field and taking your respective place on the field, you are to remain standing and silent.

14.  Remain standing as the Senior Choral Members proceed to the microphones in front of the stage to sing the National Anthem.

15.  The next portion of the program will consist of speeches and presentations by Administrators, Valedictorian, Salutatorian, and Class President.

16.  At the conclusion of these speeches, the graduating class will then be called to begin receiving their diplomas.

17. When your name is called to receive your diploma, please take the diploma cover with your left hand and shake hands with your right hand.  Remember to look the presenter in the eye when shaking hands.

18.  After the last diploma has been awarded, the Senior Class President will lead the class in moving the tassel, symbolizing your passage from CHS.  When she does this, you are to move your tassels from the right side of your cap to the left side of your cap. This is to be done in unison.  When this has been done, the Principal will lead a round of applause.  YOU MUST REMAIN SEATED until you are instructed to stand.

19.  You will stand and face the audience, then Mr. Moran will introduce you for the first time as the Alumni of the Class of 2025.

20. The band will then play the recessional music.  Please remain at your seat until the guests on the stage and next to the stage have departed.  Mr. Sidman, Ms. Laux, Mr. Modica, Ms. Neckin, faculty members and chaperones will direct the graduates to leave the field in the same way they came out at the beginning – Class Advisors leading the Class of 2025 from the field back through the doors and into the LARGE GYM, where tables will be set up by guidance counselor name and you will pick up your diploma.

We are all excited to celebrate this momentous occasion with you!
