The Connetquot Central School District is pleased to announce several Connetquot High School students who have earned academic honors from College Board’s National Recognition Program! The College Board National Recognition Program is a tangible way to recognize the academic achievements of various groups of students. Through this recognition, students have increased college visibility and academic recruitment opportunities. The following students were selected as National Recognition recipients after meeting the following criteria: scoring in the top 10% of test takers in New York State on the Fall 2023 PSAT, earning a three or better on two or more AP exams and having a GPA of 87 or better. Congratulations to James Chen, Madison Holzmacher, Tommy Huta, Krish Patel, Connor Scott and Elaine Wang on receiving the First Generation National Recognition Award and Cristian Goncalves, Jeremy Jaquez, Marissa Latasso and Michael Schauder on receiving the Hispanic National Recognition Award. Additionally, congratulations to Julian Bolton on receiving both the African American and Hispanic National Recognition Awards, Savannah Butler on receiving the African American and First Generation National Recognition Awards and Gabriela Chavez on receiving both the Hispanic and First Generation National Recognition Awards!
