On June 14, buildings around the district participated in special activities and ceremonies in honor of Flag Day. The schools’ bands and orchestras were invited to play patriotic songs. Parents and family members, first responders, servicemen and women and veterans were invited to attend. Students and staff spoke about what the flag means to them and recited flag facts.
