In partnership with SCOPE Education Services, Connetquot's Summer Enrichment Program offered 25 different courses for students in grades K-12.

This year, approximately 240 Connetquot students were enrolled to participate in the various SCOPE courses, including Creating Cartoon and Comics, Summer Arts and Crafts, Primary Extreme STEM, Intro to Electrical Engineering and more. The program is funded through American Rescue Plan federal grant monies.

Other courses included Fun with Science and Nature where students explored nature, went on scavenger hunts and created arts and crafts to go with their findings. In Cooking, Baking and Chocolate Making, students manipulated chocolate and food in a messy fun, hands-on experience. In Creative Painting and Pottery Sculpting, students created pottery designs and sculptures from terracotta clay, learning various techniques. In Primary Robotics and Lego Engineering, students worked individually and in groups to program various robots and learned the basics of design.

Through the program, high school students also had the opportunity to take an SAT preparation course and a course in writing college essays. At the end of the College Essay and Application Writing course, students had a better understanding of how colleges review applications and improved their personal writing skills.
