With over a 60 year history, DECA has touched the lives of more than ten million students, educators, school administrators and business professionals. Their strong connection with the organization has resonated into a brand that people identify as a remarkable experience in the preparation of emerging leaders and entrepreneurs. DECA prepares students for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management. The High School Division includes 185,000 members in 5,000 schools.
DECA is open to students in grades 9-12 with an interest in business and entrepreneurship. Co-enrollment in a business class is strongly recommended. Members will be eligible to participate in the annual competition at Suffolk Community College in January.
