At Sycamore, character education is embedded in everything we do. Each month we focus on a particular trait which is a focus in the classroom. There is a large sign just outside our nurse's office that reminds each who pass it of our monthly focus. Our students pass this sign several times everyday. Our character education committee, consisting of teachers and parents, worked hard to develop a strong, student-centered character education curriculum. Listed below is each trait and its assigned month.
